About Plant It Forward
When we all work together we can make the impossible, possible. Together, we can create a beautiful field of flowers in Winnipeg on the first of spring. Together, we can help Habitat for Humanity ensure everyone has a decent place to live.
From January to March, community groups throughout Winnipeg are getting together to build flowers out of reclaimed, used, unwanted items. Download our Project Guidelines if you'd like some ideas. At the same time, businesses and individuals are being asked to support these volunteers’ hard work by donating to Habitat for Humanity.
On March 20th, the event will culminate with an outdoor display of all the flowers at the Historic Port at the Forks. This display will help draw attention to our cause, to the hard work of the community and to the financial support offered by Winnipeg businesses.
